WTF are they doing to our country

I have mostly been trying to keep out of national politics on the basis that I can be and am being far more effective doing activism at the local level but the latest plans for cutting the benefit bill (a goal which is dangerous for the future of our country). So, having forced many people who are long term ill off incapacity including (AFAICT) anyone who is in from a mental health condition you then force them to take the first work offered them regardless of e.g. mental or physical health conditions making the work inaccessible, a job that doesn't pay enough to live once transport is considered, a job way below someone's qualifications then making it very hard for said person to get a better job if they are trapped in menial, long hours job to name but a few.

Words fail me. This is a way to make many, many people very unhappy, ill and raise suicide and homelessness rates plus kill the economy that much more.
