More Blogging & MRI (1)
Nov. 2nd, 2010 03:04 pmI'm not going to do a strict a blog a day thing as life is crazy busy at the moment and don't want to guarantee time each day. I am going to aim to do about that many posts/pieces of writing but not worry about when they are placed within the month. Many will be filtered, some may be private to me or elsewhere. I shall number them for the moment though I may not carry on doing so. I want to move to dreamwidth and will endeavour to do so this month as well.
For this post I will mostly go:
I had a head MRI and didn't freak out!
Which is a pretty big thing for me given I'm really quite claustrophobic. I managed with low level meditation and keeping my eyes shut most of the time. I could feel the anxiety and panic there and just remained calm, thinking how important it is to get through this both for the results and for me to have conquered this. So it was fine, I had the full set of scans and all was grovy. I may by myself something congratulatory, such as a subscription to this and I'm going to take an hour off this afternoon (if I can) to have a read and a Hazelnut Chai.
