May Balls

So I've never been to a may ball mainly because I've never been well enough to get enough out of it given the cost. Anyway, since I am getting better this year I'm going to try going. So... it would be nice to go were people are going if at all as it would be nice to know a few people would be there that I knew.

*hugs* Unfortunately, it seemed the vast majority sold out very quickly after going on sale this year.

I was considering Robinson which doesn't seem to be sold out.

The top hit on Google is http://www.srcf.ucam.org/robinsonmayball/, "Robinson May Ball 2008", which to me says "All tickets sold out, waiting list in operation" :( Am I/you looking at the wrong page?

Robinson was the one CTS people went to a couple of years ago, it was less in demand than some of the better known balls but turned out very nice. We wondered about trying to get together this year, but nothing came of it. (Several people would have liked to, but I didn't find anything promising, except conceivably one of the non-balls. Any student friends are likely going somewhere, I expect.)
