Well, they haven't told me exactly how well I've done as such (i.e. marks/grades), just that 'the result is perfectly satisfactory' which is all that matters really as it allows me to go back. I know I muffed the exam lots, but, as they said, I knew the material very well. They have since said that this is what they wanted for me to go back, or words to that effect. Even if 'you are a bit less confident at problem-solving'... Ah well, none of that matters now- I'm going back!
On an almost equally good point I need an investigative procedure to confirm that I have what they think I have so they can treat it more properly. They kept putting the date later and later until on saturday I recieved an appointment card for a date in november- meaning I would have been well into second year before settled on medication. Just minutes before I was going to phone them on monday to find out what if anything I could do about this (they'd been engaged twice already) I got a phone from a nice lady saying some appointment slots had become available due to their specilist being free when other's weren't or some such- Anyway upshot is that the operation is now wednesday week. This is great and means that if all goes well I should be happilly settled on new medication in time to go back.
