I thought I might actually update this with what I've been doing. I've been very tired recently, this is probably a combination of the heat and being upset from some of the goings on week before last and adjusting to new diet. Normally if I let me body get the 10+ hours of sleep it seems to need then I'm alright during the rest of the day. That has not been the case in the last week, though this does seem to be getting better.

Anyway, last week was rather full. After the viezla on Saturday I had intended to join the summer thing but was feeling very tired and shaky so didn't. Instead I took a wonder down the river in the late afternoon and spent a while sitting by the river in peace and quiet. It was very nice to watch various forms of wildlife getting along with life oblivious to my presence. There's some photos here: http://numberland.fotopic.net/c1010701.html. Otherwise had a very quiet day.

On Monday I went to hospital and got put on the low-fibre diet thing and then in the evening I went climbing. Didn't do anything terribly impressive but did do one route I had failed to do previously. L was very impressive and it was fun watching some people have a go on the roof. Afterwards I joined a trip to tescos and stocked up on various low-fibre things.

On Tuesday I did quite a few jobs during the day then went to see my mum's class' exhibition at Brickworks. It is very impressive the range and quality of work that they produce. I then headed off to the snug for Kate's post-results cocktails and then onwards to games evening. I stayed up too late chatting to people which was very enjoyable.

On Wednesday I went over to a friends for dinner which was very enjoyable and relaxing.

On Thursday I was feeling quite unwell so failed to look at the room I was intending to but managed to drag myself to the summer round as I had the CD player which is somewhat essential. I limited the amount I danced as I was tending to feel very dizzy and nauseous after standing up for any length of time. It was nice lying on the grass and watching people dance though.

On Friday I had a couple of things on in the morning/early afternoon and then heading to the senate house to celebrate Kate's graduation. Lots of nice champagne had rather more effect then I was expecting. Then I went to look at the house I'd failed to look at the day before. It seems fine and is cheap but I probably won't get it. I then had supper and managed to get to the end of Contra.

On Saturday I had a lovely lunch with a friend and then spent a lazy afternoon with my parents at the market. The dance I was supposed to go to in the evening evaporated due to lack of tickets, so I have a quiet evening in instead. Somewhat appriechiated after the mayhem of the previous week.

Yesterday was Kate's BBQ which was very pleasant indeed.

The next week is due to be somewhat quieter, I'm planning to get a good chunk of the repertoire revising for the round that I need to do done and start on some maths. Saturday is Ely folk festival which I'm looking forward to and then the following weekend is a long weekend in the lakes including some sailing on lake windermere. Should be fun.
